Owners
Alysia and Douglas Wheeler are the proud owners of Solstice Dance Company—and, most importantly, proud dance parents. Their vision is to create a positive, supportive environment not only for their own daughter, but for every dancer who walks through the doors.
Both serve their community—Alysia as a Registered Nurse and Douglas through active duty military service—bringing care, discipline, and strong values into the studio.
As parents, they understand the impact a studio has on a child’s confidence and growth, and are committed to building a space where dancers feel supported, inspired, and at home.
McKenna kolb,
Artistic Director/Instructor
McKenna Kolb is a passionate dance educator dedicated to inspiring confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of movement in every student she teaches. With experience in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, and tap, McKenna brings a well-rounded technical background and an energetic, encouraging approach to the classroom.
Her love of teaching comes from a deep belief that dance is more than just technique. It is a way for students to build confidence, express themselves, and develop discipline, teamwork, and artistry. McKenna strives to create a positive and supportive environment where dancers of all ages feel challenged, motivated, and celebrated for their individual growth.
Through her experience as both a dancer and instructor, McKenna is committed to helping each student reach their full potential while fostering a genuine passion for dance that lasts far beyond the studio.
